Location

The agritourism farm's location was chosen to be in the village of Łączna, in the municipality of Mieroszów, because of the undulating countryside, panoramic views, stretches of forest with walking and biking trails, peace, quiet, and clean crisp air. Łączna is a part of a site belonging to an ecological network of protected areas in the territory of the European Union called Natura 2000.

Another advantage was that the property is on the outskirts of the village and has direct access to the local forests. Other reasons for choosing this location are the vast number of tourist attractions and interesting architectural monuments in the area, both in Poland and the Czech Republic.

The Establishment of Sunny Ridge Farm

Construction of the farm began in the second half of 2011. The owners' house and the three apartments designated to accommodate tourists were completed in the first quarter of 2013. Since the end of June 2013 the doors were open for the guests.

The apartments, each with separate entrances, are located on the second floor, with beautiful views of the surrounding countryside.

The goats and chickens have their living quarters in the newly established farm houses inside a lush pasture.

The Owners

The hosts of the farm are Danuta and Wojciech (Voytek) Klos, who left the city life behind and built a home for themselves, their two loyal dogs, and their goats and chickens.

Danuta and Voytek are passionate about healthy living and healthy organic eating. This lifestyle is promoted by working at the farm, walking in the forest, skiing, having their own fruits and vegetables, eggs, and goat milk.

Danuta is also making goat cheese, with quite tasty and good quality results. Besides that, she practices yoga and welcomes yoga instructors to hold workshops on the farm, during the summer months.
